&lt;p&gt;Lunch:  Half of a 6 inch Subway sub: oven roasted chicken on flatbread with honey mustard, light mayo, tomato and lettuce with some strawberries on the side&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Snack:  Two double chocolate cookies from Subway&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Dinner:  Half a pint of organic beer, a small salad: lettuce, parmesan, sundried tomato caesar salad dressing, prosciutto, crispy asiago and some lemon squeezed over it.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Dinner:  Out with my parents (they&amp;#8217;re visiting to help me move)&lt;/p&gt;</description><link>http://originsofevolution.tumblr.com/post/48985902068</link><guid>http://originsofevolution.tumblr.com/post/48985902068</guid><pubDate>Sat, 27 Apr 2013 01:05:41 -0400</pubDate></item><item><title>How I View Beauty</title><description>&lt;p&gt;When I say beauty I don&amp;#8217;t mean a bathroom filled with a multitude of makeup and other products.  I do though, mean outside beauty.  These thoughts came to me while watching the make over scene in The Princess Diaries (I put it on in the background while packing up my apartment).  You could view that scene as defining a princess by her beauty.  That all that makes Mia a princess is that fact that she now has nice hair and eyebrows and makeup.  But I see grooming as something else.  I see the effort I put into clay masks and multistep facials and plucking my eyebrows and carefully doing concealer over any pimples in the morning as respect for myself.  I love my body and I want to care for it and that extends to my skin, my hair, and my face.  I want to put my best face forward.  I don&amp;#8217;t wear extensive makeup.  Daily I wear concealer, powder and tinted lipbalm.  I put on mascara and highlighter for a night out.  I see this as putting time and effort into myself because I enjoy looking nicer when I do facials and put on concealer.  I see myself as being worth all this time and effort.  It&amp;#8217;s fine if you view makeup and beauty routines differently and don&amp;#8217;t do any of this, but I wanted to share my views.  Because when you feel down, or have had a bad day, one of the nicest things is to pamper yourself with a mask or pedicure because concentrating on yourself for thirty minutes is a great way to feel a little better.  &lt;/p&gt;</description><link>http://originsofevolution.tumblr.com/post/48985767917</link><guid>http://originsofevolution.tumblr.com/post/48985767917</guid><pubDate>Sat, 27 Apr 2013 01:03:12 -0400</pubDate></item><item><title>Today's Meal Plan (Thursday April 25th)</title><description>&lt;p&gt;Breakfast:  Oatmeal with frozen strawberries and chocolate mint tea&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Breakfast:  An orange and a vanilla yogourt.  &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Lunch:  Leftover Chinese “fried” rice and leftover beef, broccoli, mushroom and water chestnut stir fry.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Snack:  Six tablespoons of chocolate frosting (whoops…)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Dinner:  A cup of creamy noodle tuna helper with a half cup of frozen mixed veggies (peas, snap peas, baby carrots and baby corn) on the side.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Dessert:  A cup of coffee with a shot of Bailey’s (because it’s Saint Patrick’s Day!)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If I am starving later I’ll have some carrot slices.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I am logging after my snack since I don’t want my post dinner food to change!  &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Total is about 1340 without a carrot and about 1370 with a carrot.  &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Output&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I really want to go for a run today but I definitely won’t make it over to the trails and I probably won’t make it out at all before dark.  If I do I’m going to go along the back road and possibly finish with a loop around my block (2 km block, not sure of the distance on the back road).  If I don’t make it outside before dark I will do some yoga.  &lt;/p&gt;

Man I love those sandals.  I love yoga no matter where I do it but I’m starting to really miss doing yoga outside on my deck in the warm sunshine. I took this picture after yoga so my legs were very tired an shaky and I think I was about to fall over on my mat.
