So I decided to make a writing blog It will talk about my journey from being an unpublished to becoming a (hopefully!) published writer. If you are interested you can check out the link: Kelsey’s Stories I hope some of you might be interested in joining me on my journey :) Oh and if you are someone I do interact with on here, I would love to have some beta reader for my short stories, shoot me an ask if you are interested!
intermsofhealth asked: Your pizza crackers recipe looks amazing, haha. I'm trying to find more "exciting" snacks that utilize the microwave, because that's all I have atm here in the dorms, haha. YAY! Thank you!!
I’m so happy I could help! :) I will try and come up with some new and exciting, but healthy, microwavable recipes.
“Pizza Crackers” Recipe
Makes 6 crackers, one snack size serving.
6 wheat thins whole grain crackers (or another kind of small cracker).
6 mushroom slices (about one small mushroom).
1 tbsp salsa divided.
6 small and thin pieces of mozzarella cheese.
Microwave on high for 30-45 seconds, covered. 30 seconds will leave things a bit crunchy. 45 seconds will leave everything a bit softer.
About 180 cals.
When your friend texts you “what’s up?” and you respond right away and then they never respond back -__- silly lazy friends.
Slept in very late, had some pretty crazy awesome dreams too. Despite this I am still feeling quite tired. And of course I have a million things to do today. Going to have a cup of lemon grass and Yerba mate tea and see what I can accomplish before my organic chemistry lecture at 5 pm.
My new favourite find! Zevia is a pop that’s sweetened with stevia instead of sugar, high fructose corn syrup or artificial sweeteners. I have only tried the black cherry flavour so far and it is delicious! Kind of like Dr Pepper. I will be going back to buy the cola and orange ones. And the best part is they are at my regular grocery store, no special trips to the health food store if I don’t have time. I highly recommend other pop lovers try this. The solution to my love of fizzy drinks :)

Some random 0 notes posts ended up here, instead of other more popular posts. I don’t know… Still fun to look back!
I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas/Hanukkah/Holiday Season. :) Sadly, I haven’t been skiing or snowboarding yet this Christmas break, and I probably won’t get to before I go back to uni. Unless I can go tomorrow. If I’m not too hungover. I hope everyone else got some wicked presents. I got a new baselayer from Lululemon. Will work equally well for running and skiing/snowboarding. It’s 1000 times better than what I was using before. I also got a Keurig! Which is the coolest thing ever. Can’t wait to buy a whole bunch of teas. Not for my Keuring I got some chocolate peppermint tea, which I highly recommend. All my favourite Christmas-y flavours without almost no calories. Also, for all the other nerds following my tumblr, I got a Gandalf The Grey tree ornament, adding to the Frodo ornament I already have. I am slowly building up my LOTR tree decoration collection. Also, FRESH products, such a nice surprise. I got lots of chocolate (my fave is chocolate covered marshmallow) and shamelessly ate it. But I have been out running since Christmas. And I feel like my life is getting back on track. I can’t wait to go back to my apartment. My mom is driving me up the wall. I hope everyone has fun tonight. And really, a party isn’t the only way to go. One of my best New Years Eve memories is making french onion soup with my parents and watching the X-Men trilogy. See you in the New Year :)
What was the most awesome present you got? And did you ask for anything health or fitness related?

I was not hungry at all today. Had to eat some calorie dense noodles and chocolate for some energy to study physics and genetics. Not the most nutritious but I didn’t have any energy to cook. I’m also losing my voice so I’m fairly certain I’m getting sick. This totally blows, I always get sick during exams. I’m going to start taking 2 vitamin C packets per day, taking a zinc tablet every morning, increasing my water to 10 cups and drink at least 1 cup of green tea per day. And I should make my food choices a bit more nutrient dense.
Thanks to my followers for not unfollowing while I’ve been so inactive. I can barely get through what I have to right now, eating, showering, laundry and doing assignments. I will be back on here as soon as I can manage. I hope that is really soon.
Better late than never! Going to start tomorrow, but I’m only doing Level 1 for 3 days so I do 2 and 3 FOR 10 days each. Anyone else already started?
Can I just eat sunflower seeds all day?
I’ve decided the Christmas present I really want is to lose weight. So I’m starting now and I hope to lose 15 lbs by the 25th of December. This is going to be my most serious attempt ever at losing weight. Here’s hoping I can stick to it. I will post later about my clean eating and workout plans.
