Missing Weight Located!

Found my missing free weight under my bike helmet! This is what happens when you don’t bike in the winter… Now I can do a 30 day shred video this evening :)

Today’s Input/Output (17/03/2013)

Input

Breakfast: An orange and a vanilla yogourt.

Lunch: Leftover Chinese “fried” rice and leftover beef, broccoli, mushroom and water chestnut stir fry.

Snack: Six tablespoons of chocolate frosting (whoops…)

Dinner: A cup of creamy noodle tuna helper with a half cup of frozen mixed veggies (peas, snap peas, baby carrots and baby corn) on the side.

Dessert: A cup of coffee with a shot of Bailey’s (because it’s Saint Patrick’s Day!)

If I am starving later I’ll have some carrot slices.

I am logging after my snack since I don’t want my post dinner food to change!

Total is about 1340 without a carrot and about 1370 with a carrot.

Output

I really want to go for a run today but I definitely won’t make it over to the trails and I probably won’t make it out at all before dark. If I do I’m going to go along the back road and possibly finish with a loop around my block (2 km block, not sure of the distance on the back road). If I don’t make it outside before dark I will do some yoga.

Bought new running shoes on the weekend! They are trail running shoes and I can’t wait to try them out. I probably won’t have time for a trail run until Thursday though :(  By the way ignore the price sticker, they were on SALE!

Dinner! Egg noodles, cooked carrots with dill and a bit of honey and “Miss American Thigh” chicken recipe from The Looney Spoons cookbook. I used a chicken breast instead of thighs. No idea of the calories but it was delicious and nutritious. I also had a cup of lactose free 1% milk.

While doing yoga on the weekend my magazine I use as an outline for home practise just wouldn’t stay open and the closest thing I could grab were my Birkenstocks.  Man I love those sandals.  I love yoga no matter where I do it but I’m starting to really miss doing yoga outside on my deck in the warm sunshine. I took this picture after yoga so my legs were very tired an shaky and I think I was about to fall over on my mat.  Who else is starting to look forward to spring?

Banff

While watching Brotherhood 2.0 and perusing the comments I found that people thought the following about Banff, Alberta:

That it is in The States

That it is near Toronto.

That it is in B.C.

That it is pronounced and spelled Bamf.

That gave me a good chuckle.

Healthier Nachos

Sorry guys no picture for this one, I ate them before I thought to snap a picture.  

Recipe:

(Serves one)  about 225 calories

6 large nachos

1/4 cup salsa

1/8 cup grated cheese (colby, monterey jack or mozza melt really well)

1 green onion chopped

1/4 cup sliced mushrooms

1 tbsp black olives

Top the nachos with salsa and mushrooms bake at 350 F for about 3 minute, top with everything else and bake until cheese is melty, about another 5 to 7 minutes.

Enjoy!  These make a great late night study snack :)

Sick

I promise to start posting as soon as I can.  I’ve been sick for a week and a half and I’m not getting better.  Missed two o chem labs and a math test so far.  At least my profs have been nice.

Text Message Response

Saved a picture of me with my clay mask on for the next time someone texts me asking “what’s up?” or “how’s your day been?” That is what I shall send in response.  Especially if it’s one of my guy friends.  Or my dad.  Hahahaha.

Today’s Plan

I’m up at 5 am!? o.O

Here’s today’s plan:

Do clay mask then shower and dress, etc…

Fold clothes and get laundry in order.

Do dishes.

Put out garbage and recycling.

Do groceries.

Eat breakfast.

Do laundry.

Wash bathroom and kitchen; vacuum.

Calculus reading.

Download software for evolution course.

Lunch.

Go to cafe and write with some tea.

Watch the Balt vs Pats game.  (Go Ravens!!)

Dinner.

Outline all my work I have to do this week and upcoming due dates so I don’t fall behind.  

Yoga.

In bed by 10 pm!
