Going really well so far, eating healthier than I ever have. I went cold turkey stopping to eat all meat, dairy and eggs. I am phasing out honey. I will, however, continue to wear my old leather, silk and wool clothing. Feel free to comment, I encourage discussion.
Becoming a vegan, right now. Giving all my food that’s meat or has animal products to my roommate, he’s thrilled. It shouldn’t be too hard, I honestly hardly eat meat, can’t drink milk since I’m lactose intolerant, don’t really like eggs. The only think I really love that I’m giving up is yogourt. And the hard part will be making sure processed food doesn’t contain animal by products, but I shouldn’t be eating processed shit anyways.

I really appreciate all my followers so I always want to be honest. I just started an antidepressant/anti anxiety (SSRI) to treat my anxiety and moderate depression. The side effects have not been very fun. My meal plans/food diaries will probably be low for a while due to my significant decrease in appetite. I am not choosing to eat very low, I simply cannot force myself to eat all that much. I also start my summer job at the zoo on the 29th so I might disappear for a little bit if I get too exhausted but I will do my best effort to keep posting, especially as I plan to plant a vegetable garden at my new house and I love to talk gardening. Thanks for bearing with me during exams and thanks for bearing with me during this. I will try to always log on MFP even if I don’t post here so you can keep up with me here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/originsofevolution
Breakfast: Peach cup
Lunch: Half of a bagel with 1/2 tsp butter
Dinner: Out with my parents (they’re visiting to help me move)
When I say beauty I don’t mean a bathroom filled with a multitude of makeup and other products. I do though, mean outside beauty. These thoughts came to me while watching the make over scene in The Princess Diaries (I put it on in the background while packing up my apartment). You could view that scene as defining a princess by her beauty. That all that makes Mia a princess is that fact that she now has nice hair and eyebrows and makeup. But I see grooming as something else. I see the effort I put into clay masks and multistep facials and plucking my eyebrows and carefully doing concealer over any pimples in the morning as respect for myself. I love my body and I want to care for it and that extends to my skin, my hair, and my face. I want to put my best face forward. I don’t wear extensive makeup. Daily I wear concealer, powder and tinted lipbalm. I put on mascara and highlighter for a night out. I see this as putting time and effort into myself because I enjoy looking nicer when I do facials and put on concealer. I see myself as being worth all this time and effort. It’s fine if you view makeup and beauty routines differently and don’t do any of this, but I wanted to share my views. Because when you feel down, or have had a bad day, one of the nicest things is to pamper yourself with a mask or pedicure because concentrating on yourself for thirty minutes is a great way to feel a little better.

Loading up on carrots and green beans with some ham for a yummy protein and not too much mashed potatoes.
When I come home tomorrow for Easter weekend my mom is making fennel salad for dinner. I am so excited.
By the way I am doing camp nanowrimo and you can follow my progress and ramblings over at http://kelseylessardstories.tumblr.com/ :)
